NEW EVENTS MANAGER NAMED at NRHA
The NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show, NRHA Derby and NRHA Convention are Reining’s premier events requiring a dedicated staff to plan and facilitate each. NRHA recently announced the promotion of one of its current employees to the events management team – Melanie Rinehart. Rinehart, a four-year employee of NRHA, now serves as the Manager of Events & Show Department. Rinehart will continue managing various aspects of the show department, in addition to assisting in the organization of NRHA’s major annual events.
Rinehart started her career at NRHA in the Member Services Department as a Customer Service Representative. She was promoted to Member Services Supervisor and held that position until recently. Rinehart has proven herself to be an asset to NRHA over the past four-years with involvement in many membership, show and affiliate projects including serving as the Supervisor of the Show Department, Eligibility Committee liaison, Show Standards Committee liaison and Futurity and Derby Stalling coordinator. Also during her time in the Member Services Department, she helped develop Show Secretary Seminars and Educational Development.
 Rinehart attended The University of Oklahoma and received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. She was born in Texas, but has been an Oklahoma resident for most of her life. She currently lives in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
