Dan Fletcher and Wimps Enterprise finished the 2018 season with a world title win, and the pair returned to the show pen in 2019 to earn reserve.

Some horses might need a relaxed season after running for a title the year before. That’s not the case for Wimps Enterprise (Wimpys Tinseltown x A Prize Package), who helped Dan Fletcher take home the 2018 NRHA Prime Time Non Pro World title. In 2019, the pair was at it again, ending the season with reserve honors in the same division.
“This year started off really well, so we just continued,” Fletcher explained. “We never really planned to run for a title. We were just cruising along, and things seemed to be going pretty positive, so we kept going.”
Owned and bred by Fletcher’s brother, John, “Charlie” has proven her versatility to compete with other members of the Fletcher family, too.
“She’s been a solid, good mare,” Fletcher revealed. “My grandson, Logan Kendall, has shown her in 13 & Under. We can show her in any class, and she never changes. To have the type of horse that I can maintain myself as a non pro is a big deal. She’s a great girl.
“I need to thank my brother, John Fletcher, and my sister-in-law, Sharon Fletcher. They’re always there to support us,” Fletcher continued. “Also, my wife, Berenice, and everyone from the Ontario Reining Horse Association. They’re big supporters, cheering us on and helping us.”
