Casey Deary Earns a Million

NRHA Professional Casey Deary has earned over a Million Dollars in NRHA competition and is justifiably proud and awed by his accomplishment.  Deary, known as a devoted family man, has his own cheerleaders in his wife Nicole and their children; Wyatt, Joy, Owen, and Olivia.  Deary, Weatherford, Texas earned his first NRHA paycheck on November 4, 2000 in Katy, Texas at the Saltgrass Steak House Warmup show aboard Crome Marks owned by Maureen Underwood.  The young horseman earned $82.12 – a far cry from his most recent paycheck of $161,466 for winning the NRHA Open Futurity Level 4 division riding Shesouttayourleague for owner Curtis Performance Horses LLC!  To say Deary had a good November and December is a monumental understatement.

At the AQHA World Championship Show in November, Deary earned the World and Reserve World Championships in Junior Reining.  In Like Flinn, owned by Todd Neiberger, carried him to the World Champion title while Antler Ridge Ranch’s Magnum Starlights earned Deary the Reserve World Champion designation.  He followed that up with his history-making NRHA Futurity Championship, winning the 50th running of the NRHA Futurity after an incredible run-off on Shesouttayourleague, which culminated in his most recent accomplishment and title – NRHA Million Dollar Rider!

Looking back on Deary’s career, the NRHA Professional has added significantly to his bank account at the National Reining Breeders Classic (NRBC) competitions, including 2015 Reserve Champion on ARC Gunna Sparkya and in 2013 third place on Americasnextgunmodel.  And who could forget his 2012 Futurity Champion title win on Americasnextgunmodel.

NRHA is proud of Deary’s new designation and whole-heartedly congratulates him on becoming an NRHA Million Dollar Rider!
